Perfect holiday with the 3 generations. Holidays with children can be strenuous and sometimes not worth it no matter how beautiful the scenery, but here we definitely did not long for the routine of home because we felt we were there. We stopped going on trips as we always returned with such happiness here. Staff here absolutely wonderful, flexible, accommodating. They made us so happy, and as for Gede's "napping" arms, my baby daughter will miss him a lot! Both my children were happy in a houseful of smiles. They are amazing and lovely. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Villa Talia Vashti. It's a wonderful place to bring your family. The staff are polite and responsive to all of our requests. We enjoyed a hike from the rice fields to Tenganan village, in fact it was the highlight of our trip to Bali. Truly memorable. What an amazing home you have. Having stayed in the Aman Kila and the Amanusa hotels (and that horrible place we don’t mention in Tembok……) your villa is by far the most relaxing, friendly and beautiful. Villa Talia Vashti is a very beautiful and relaxing place to spend our holiday. There are wonderful staff and they always keep the house incredibly clean. The decoration of the villa is perfect and very inviting. Sitting by the pool and looking out onto the ocean is probably one of my favourite things to do when I’m here. I really enjoyed staying at the villa. Ketut and the staff are kind and attentive, the pool is clear and the view is magnificent. This has surpassed our hopes for a relaxing, secluded and luxurious honeymoon. The house, staff and location were all more than we could hope for. The staff so attentive and thoughtful. We laughed as people kept walking in here thinking this was a 5 star hotel....it does feel that way! We ate in often as the food and presentation here are wonderful, but we also recommend Toke & Vincents. Definitely take day trips to get a feel of the culture on this beautiful island. After 18 days at this beautiful villa, we must now return to Australia feeling relaxed and thoroughly pampered. The staff at Villa Talia Vashti are truly gentle souls for whom nothing is too much trouble. They are all very special people. We have been lucky to have Ketut from "No Problems" agency as our driver and guide to Bali and those who live here. White Sand Beach (Pasir Putih) is like "Old Bali" relaxed, white sand, crystal clear water a few warungs and virtually no hawkers. The snorkelling and fishing in the water of the villa is terrific and we also recommend white water rafting. The food at Vincents in Candi Dasa is wonderful, and for a night out try the Alila. We also did 2 cooking programmes at the Alila with an Australian Chef and we are returning home with all the equipment we need to treat our friends to "Babi Guling". We hope to return soon!!! Lovely villa, fantastic staff. Thank you to them all who looked after us so well. Things to do: Submarine Trip - excellent (though expensive), the children loved it and it was a very professional operation; White Sand Beach - lovely - wished we had gone there sooner and good snorkelling; Tulumben wreck is the best snorkelling and easy for the children to get to- just off the shore, calm sea and loads of fish even our 6 year old managed it! The drive around the East Coast is worth doing if you have the time - an insight into the lives of the local people and beautiful views. Ubud is far too crowded and touristy nowadays. Villa Food great, especially BBQ. Also lovely meals at Lotus Seaview, Vincents and Amarta (at Mendira). Nice to walk to the Amarta for cocktails, lunch and a swim at Mendira beach. Villa life here is so superior to hotel life. So comfortable; So relaxing. We recommend walks around around the immediate area; a drink or a meal at the Amarta is a lot of fun(just a 2 minute walk through the coconut palms in the adjoining plot). Count to the 5th breakwater from the r.h. edge of the pool for great snorkelling. Vincent’s in town for a really good meal. The staff are lovely and appreciate help with their English. What a fabulous place to spend a relaxing holiday. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much problem. Would recommend Ketut to drive you around the island – we saw things that wouldn’t have seen without him. Photographers be aware, Ketut knows where and when to get the best shots!
