We had a very warm welcome and orientation, this was followed by a wonderful week at Villa Kalisha. The staff were always helpful and friendly and the meals delicious. We enjoyed walking to the village and had to be rescued during a large rain shower by Nyos who brought us umbrellas – he was our hero! The villa, pool and deck are amazing, not to mention the beautiful view and surroundings. Paradise! Thank you.

We enjoyed the villa so much. The staff were the best…..friendly and helpful. A heartfelt thanks to all of them. The temperature here and the lush hillsides were fabulous. We were in our own Shangri-La. We went shopping in Ubud one day and the weather was hot so we rushed back here to cool off! We have never been in this kind of setting, so we enjoyed it to the fullest. Thanks.

Superb service – Shame about the weather! Wayan, Nyos and team were excellent and really made the holiday. Fabulous food! Amazingly wonderful staff made the stay a pleasure and made our wedding at the villa a very special experience. Bali is a beautiful country, rich in culture and tradition. Lovely experience all round!

Nyos and the rest of the staff were brilliant, they really made the stay. They were able to help with everything we needed, including getting rid of some mighty big spiders! They decorated the deck for the wedding so that it looked absolutely fantastic and very romantic. The villa itself is in a lovely location and very comfortable. The food was lovely and Made made the best Lumpia I have ever tasted. She really is a brilliant cook!

We had a wonderful time in a beautiful environment, enhanced by warm, friendly and efficient service. The proximity to the local villages offers many possibilities to work cooperatively to develop trekking options and to involve tourists and guests at the stunning Villa Kalisha in local village ceremonies, thereby greatly enhancing the travel experience and realizing the potential of pristine subsistence farming of almost medieval authenticity. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to befriend the excellent staff at Villa Kalisha and would readily return in the hope that the tourism potential of this halcyon, rustic region – Bali’s Tuscany- might be explored and developed by the time of our next visit. Thank you for making this very special property available for our enjoyment.
